Flash Revolutionizing Online Gaming Experience   by Franchis Adam

With the advancement in the internet based technologies and related software, including flash, gaming has undergone a sea change. What used to come in compact discs at premium rates is now available online, for free. The quality has gone up quite a few notches, and with new developments taking place in the field, we are bound to see newer and innovative concepts emerge everyday, making playing funny online games a different experience altogether.

Now that I look around, and see such a huge variety of online games available, I get excited. I don’t need to spend on things which I am not sure would be good fun or not. Many games usually were not safe for children and even adults who had a sense of morality. The advantage with online games, here is that many sites declare warnings before providing access to certain discretionary content. People love funny online games, some of which have been explained further.

One of the games is Bloons. It is similar to a puzzle with no bad content, whatsoever. You are a monkey who actually has to pop up the balloons that show up in front of you. Though I must admit, some ninja games had a lot of swearing and harsh language, which are not advisable for children. Some of these sites clearly displayed non kid-safe advertising in the very beginning.

Another funny online game is bubble trouble. Here there are many levels where you are supposed to blow up these balls which keep on disintegrating into smaller ones until are blown away. As the player proceeds up the levels, the difficulty increases.
Another situational game, which I came across was Whack Your Boss, quite similar to the find object games available on the net, the only difference being that whichever object you find and click on, the game shows you how to kill your boss using that very object. The game clearly showed warning for violent content lest children should get access to it.

Just because people play online games does not mean they cannot learn. They can play strategy based games or quizzes and puzzles. One vey famous strategy game is Pocket Tanks. It is about strategizing how to destroy your enemy’s battleship by proper placement and setting of angle and elevation of the missiles. It may sound violent, but it is really the opposite. The game promotes decision making and application of mental abilities, which is always a welcome change from many nonsensical games available in the market.
